Fiabe Motorie® Press Review · Summary of an article by Francesca Grillo published in Il Giorno, 9 February 2019.

This page does not reproduce the original newspaper article in full. It provides an editorial summary documenting a stage in the history of Fiabe Motorie®.

In February 2019, Il Giorno published a feature on Marco Bettoni and the growth of Fiabe Motorie®, which had expanded from early experiences in schools in the Milan area to a wider educational project.

A method built around movement

The article described Bettoni’s professional path and his attempt to create a different way of introducing young children to physical activity. The project combined organised movement games with a narrative framework and cognitive goals.

Stories as the engine of experience

To explain the method, the newspaper used the example of Aladdin: the gym becomes part of the story and children have to move through courses and challenges before reaching the magic lamp. Narrative gives meaning to movement and increases engagement.

International development

The feature also reported on the collaboration established with cognitive psychologist Tricia Striano and Zwifly Research Bridge, presenting it as an important step in the project’s international exchange and training activities.
